The first round is over and due to the massive amount of votes, our favorite author in the contest has made it through the first round and is on to round two. Out of 2800 other contestants, she has made it into the top 271 contestants which is a huge accomplishment in its own right.  We are so glad to see that Dorothy is still in the competition, there was quite a bit of competition this year and Dorothy has prevailed and pushed on to the next round. We wanted to say “Thank You” to everybody who voted for Dorothy Lecours in The Next Top Spiritual Author Contest this year.  Your support has moved her on in the competition.  Below is a personal note from Dorothy herself!

I know that everybody has a busy schedule and that taking time out of your day to help me become The Next Top Spiritual Author of 2010 really means a lot to me.  So once again, thank you for your votes!

The first round of the contest has come to an end. This years contest yielded an amazing number of votes and the excitement is still in the air. After the first round of the competition came to an end there was over 82,000 votes.

I have often wondered where those who inspire us get there own inspiration?  Yes, I know it sounds like a beginning to a paradox, but I promise you it is not.  It just seems like some people have all the answers when we are in a time of need.  However, everybody has one of those days every now and again.  So what do the positive writers turn to when they need a smile put on their face?

I would imagine that they have a favorite author who they know can brighten their day too.  Maybe  just watching a “feel good” movie, I know that always does the trick for me.
